Laptop running WIN95 can't print to W2K shared printer
A friend has a machine running W2KPro. It's hosting an HP940C printer. He also has an old laptop running WIN95. This laptop "used" to be able to print to the share HP940C. However, after a reformat and fresh install of W2K (viruses) on the host machine, the laptop can't print to the shared printer any more. The computers can both "see" each other in their respective network folders
When I try to connect to the shared printer, I get a box saying "Enter network password" What password?? The W2K machine is not using any passwords. I guess what I'm getting at is how do I get the W2K machine to allow the laptop "access" to the shared printer. Help!

Do you have a user account on both the 2K and 95 machine with a password?

You will need to add a user account with a password to the 95 machine that matches a user account on the 2K machine and or create a user account with password on the 2K box. 2k does peer to peer networking with a little bit of security.
