Setting up DNS

I'm doing a lab for school, I have to set up DNS on Win2k, I have to make it a DNS server, so another computer only used my box as the server. I installed the DNS in admin tools, but I need to know how to staticly type in web sites and IP. Anybody that can help me please do, Thanks alot for any help.

DNS will automatiucally create hosts records with the help of DHCP which should already be set up.

You can however type one in.Right click the domain name in DNS and click on New Host.

From the client machine try running nslookup to test the DNS. Click start\run\type in [nslookup -d] (no brackets) this will tell you everything the DNS server knows about your domain.
