hi all
win95 will not start, missing vmm32.vxd file copied file from another pc onto a floppy disk question??????? what is the "command prompt" for copying files into the correct windows directory?? thanks for the help Dick

as long as you know the directory you would like to copy it to, here is the info you need:

Don't know whether you got that fixed or not.
If not, that file belongs in c:\windows\system Put the floppy in A: , go to the DOS prompt ..ie A:\ and type : " copy vmm32.vxd C:\windows\system " and press enter. ( P.S> I can not see it on this screen, but there is a space before C:\ ) Last edited by ROYP123; 09-23-2003 at 11:00 PM. |
