WinXP software startup issues

Hi,

I had installed a copy of Office XP std for students, and when I uninstalled it, my PC has taken to trying to open an office file upon startup.

Looking at my system information, the file is a .rbf file located in C\RECYCLER\NPROTECT. Is there any way I can remove this file from software startup when I boot my PC up? It doesn't do anything amiss, it just sits there and irritates me.

Cheers,
I_A

Is it not in your Start Menu - Programs - Startup folder

Or in MSConfig?

Thanks,

I worked out where the file was... in a Norton Protected Recycle bin. Once that was emptied, no more problems with that, although now my copy of Office XP Pro has gone on the blink... requesting a Pro Plus program to use help.

Never rains but it pours.

Thanks anyway.
