i tried my best to see if there was a thread on this so far, but couldnt find one. i hope maybe some of you 2000 pros can help.
the blue screen of death (bsod). many of you have seen it, but after a fresh format and installation of windows 2000, then update? hmm i was very worried about my video card, and hard drive when i saw this happen to my comp: p4 celeron 1.7G Mainboard P4S5MG/GL+ mobo 256k DDR maxtor 30G IDE (not sure what model) and supposedly a radeon 7500 this happened right after installation of service pack 4 from the windows update site. i had do a fresh install of windows to get comp to work again. SO, ny question is: does anyone have an idea as to why the bsod would have reason to come up? any comments would really help! thank you. also i would like to say that even when i don't have any BIG reason to apply the sevice pack, except some programs need it updated to run. thanks again |
