Question Getting program to start in boot-up

Hi From Texas !

How do I get a program in the list of 'Start Up' in msconfig ? . I am trying to get my Zone Alarm to start up when I first bootup the computer. I want it to run and it showing in the tray at the start. I have to manually start ZA . After it starts, it then puts its icon in the tray. I want all this done at the start up. Other programs start up ok. I have gone to msconfig and cannot find Zone Alarm listed in order to check the box for it to start running on start up of the computer. -- I just forgot how to do it.-----------------------Don of Fort Worth

Have you looked in ZA's options? Pretty sure it has an option to do this for you..

Just stick ZA in your startup folder and it will load.

Hi EzyStvy !
Hi mairving !
Thanks guys , that was what it was. I had to pull the Zone Alarm program and click on a link on its page. Sure enough, there was a box to click on to start the program when I boot up. Gosh , I just didn't think it would be something so easy as that. I was a thinking that it was a very involved process hiding some where just to aggregate me. Sometimes my computer gets smart with me and through me a curve. I guess it gets tired of me picking its brain.-----------------------Thanks Again Guys---I am now off to the race's------------------Don
