Hi From Texas !
How do I get a program in the list of 'Start Up' in msconfig ? . I am trying to get my Zone Alarm to start up when I first bootup the computer. I want it to run and it showing in the tray at the start. I have to manually start ZA . After it starts, it then puts its icon in the tray. I want all this done at the start up. Other programs start up ok. I have gone to msconfig and cannot find Zone Alarm listed in order to check the box for it to start running on start up of the computer. -- I just forgot how to do it.-----------------------Don of Fort Worth |

Have you looked in ZA's options? Pretty sure it has an option to do this for you..

Just stick ZA in your startup folder and it will load.

Hi EzyStvy !
Hi mairving ! Thanks guys , that was what it was. I had to pull the Zone Alarm program and click on a link on its page. Sure enough, there was a box to click on to start the program when I boot up. Gosh , I just didn't think it would be something so easy as that. I was a thinking that it was a very involved process hiding some where just to aggregate me. Sometimes my computer gets smart with me and through me a curve. I guess it gets tired of me picking its brain.-----------------------Thanks Again Guys---I am now off to the race's------------------Don |
