bad command file
I just finished reinstalling win98 from a recovery disk and everything seems ok except on bootup I get a bad command file message for a moment and it then boots normally.What should I be looking for here?Should I reinstall again?Its a Sony 300mhz P2 laptop.It loaded a bunch of useless software and I unistalled a lot of it but It started doing it right after reinstall.Thanks

Hi shifty,
Run msconfig and check the autoexec.bat or config.sys section for any calls to files that have been deleted. |
