Hi there,
Every time i start Windows XP it says my password is expiring and i have a certain number of days left. The thing is i don't have a password enabled and when i click the option to renew my password, my usual passwords that i use don't work and i have no idea what it could be or why it keeps saying my password is expiring. I have deleted all user accounts that i had apart from the one i am using and there are no passwords on this account. I deleted all the passwords i had enabled too. But still my password is expiring and in 4 days i won't be able to access my PC. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Last edited by old_mcgroin; 10-10-2003 at 02:04 PM. |

No its not a trial version. Its happened once before and i went into safe mode and somehow managed to get rid of it for a while but i don't remember how. I wanted to know if there was a way to get rid of it coming back, full stop.
I updated from windows ME. That might have something to do with it. (?) Cheers Last edited by old_mcgroin; 10-10-2003 at 03:55 PM. |

Hope this works:
Click Start Click Control Panel Click Administrative Tools (in classic view) Double click Computer Management Double click Users and Groups Click Users In right panel, right click your account and select Properties Select Password Never Expires checkbox |
