System Restore Settings
How big should I let my restore folder be? I have a 160gb HD (well it came to 152gb after format). I know 1st hand that feature is very handy, but on the other hand, I don't want it filling my HD.
Currently I have it at max, which is 12% (18758 mb = 18.758gb). I think 18gb worth of restore points is a bit overkill but I do have the space for it for now. How much space do you allocate for your system restore?

System Drive (C) - 508MB (5% of drive)
Programs (D) - ~360MB (1% of drive) any other drive - system restore turned off. |

You can clean your restore points periodically. I do it weekly when I defrag.

I'd leave it until space gets tight!

Agree with not important. Use the "delete all but the latest restore point" in disk cleanup before weekly defrag and you'll never have to worry about maxing out the storage capacity.
