Everything huge!

Hey everyone...well, this is whats going on, the other night, i was on and my computer automatically just restarted itself...i didnt even touch it. I went to go to the bathroom, came back and it restarted itself, so i went along, and went to get online, and i noticed that some icons were huge, out of place, and some of the stuff was bigger. So, i decided to let it go, figuring my brother would fix it when he returned home. Well, he didnt fix it, so i will. Can someone please tell me how to fix this, or walk me through it with instructions?

looks like some seriously messed up display settings...right click the desktop, click on properties, go to the appearance tab in Display Properties...make sure that Windows and Buttons is set to Windows XP style, and that Font size is set to Normal...that should work, however if not, then click on the Advanced button and manually go through and scale everything down to suit your style...i might check for viruses too if i was you (heheh, i rhyme)

Definitely try what jca suggested. Also, I can't exactly tell from the screenshot, but could it possibly be the screen resolution? If you do need to check the resolution, go to: Control Panel>Appearance and Themes>Change the screen resolution

Hope this helped.
