Expanding the C partition in XP

I have a machine that was just ghosted from a 10gig HDD to a 20gig HDD. XP kept the 10gig partition and left the remaining space unallocated. I need to expand the remaining space to one large drive. I do not have access to any apps so I am hoping we can do this within XP. It's a 10 gig Basic NTFS partition. Help?

Think you can do it within Disk Management. I know you can delete a partiton from there. Just go to the Help & Support and type in "deleting partition". It will give you two options.

If it is the C partition, you won't be able to do it from within Windows (can't modify the partition the OS is using).

The only things I can think of are to use Partition Magic, or re-Ghost. When you ghost to a larger HD, you have the option of changing partition sizes to use up all the available space.

xp will partition the left over space and format it from disk manigment and wil make it a 2nd partition with a new drive letter but you will nead partition magic to merge the 2 partitions. but with 2 partitions you can keep all your data on one and xp on the other if you ever have to reinstal xp your data is still safe unless the hard drive dies

You don't need PM. You can do it pretty easily with Ghost. Just ghost it and change the size of the partition to fill it up.
