"LicCtrl Service"?
When i go to MsConfig > Services and click hide all Microsoft services there are three remaining. AVG6 which I know I want, LicCtrl, and Nvidia Driver Helper. What is LicCtrl? I cannot find it on any web pages. Do I need the Nvidia Driver Helper? I am trying to speed up my system startup.

Do you have a game called OOTP (Out of the Park) baseball installed. LicCtrl is the license file for this game, and needs to be in Startup for the game to run.

HiHo, do a Google search on LicCtrl. I did earlier and there were a lot of hits. The one I posted about was the only thing I opened on Google. You'll probably find some other programs using the same file name. Good luck.
