using win2k pro, what happened to typing "msconfig" into the run prompt? has it moved or is there another path to reaching this tool?

From the Start Menu? Or programs that start up with Windows?

WinXP has msconfig and you can use it to disable start up programs. Or you can check the Startup folder and delete anything you don't want to start up with Windows.

Or you can go to Black Viper's web site and learn how to configure WinXP services.
