Need to clean registry on WIN98 PC. Where is MS Regclean located.
I had it at one time but lost it when I reformatted and reloaded last year. I've searched the WIN98 CD but must be using the wrong name. Thanks Chas

I don't actually know of a registry cleaner that was native to Win98, but perhaps your thinking of scanreg, which checks it and backs it up for U.. Along with that were several options like scanreg /fix
and scanreg /restore...

Thanks for reply. I know about Scanreg/Restore.
The registry cleaner name after installed was Regclean I think. I thought the name prior to install was the same but am unable to find it using Regclean. I thought it was under reskit/tools on the CD but am unable to find it. Chas |
