hello
You could go to "msconfig" and try disabling svchost.exe from there so that it never loads at startup. This way, you aren't disabling it from inside Windows. Instead, you are not enabling it to begin with.you could also find out which service is running under the svchost.exe process and try disabling each service that started under svchost.exe one by one. Eventually you'll kill the service that is eating up your resources. although it might take sometime to find that service ,also update your virus definitions and do a full virus scan. |

I agree - I'd even go so far as to suggest you may have the W32.Welchia worm on your system.
