FTP useing DOS
I know how to get files off of my FTP sever useing DOS. How do I send files to it? Lets say I'm trying to send it this file: test.txt which is in D:\Documents. What commands would I type in. Please be as specific as possible, the only things I can do in DOS so far is download files from an FTP server and use tracert.
PS-Does anyone els use tracert for any real resone? I just use it when I'm bored, I try and guess how many places come up

Use cd directory to change the dir on the server, use lcd directory to change the directory on your local machine, type bin to enable binary transfers (ascii is default mode), and then transfer files using put filename command.

Use dir for the remote directory and ldir for the local directory.

ls does the same thing as dir, which list the ftp directory. mls ask for a remote and local file.
