WinXP Startup problem
For some reason whenever i boot my computer (Which isn't often, i leave it on all the time) it insists to check the file systems My D partition, sometimes more.
Any ideas? |

if a disk check is scheduled do you let it finish as it will keep runing till it has

I have let it finish a number a times, but keeps coming back over and over again.
Also, i haven't checked any boxes or messed with any settings for awhile, and it has never done this before. |

in msconfig check the startup section and post a list of wot programs are set to start with windows all so check the boot menue by right clicking my computer go to properties/ advanced/ startup and recovery/ and see wot the boot menue displayes by selecting edit

yes thats correct but a program or an entry in the startup section of the registry is making it run so we knead to find out which one it is
