Help cant copy my docs from c: to d:

I have a co laptop running win2k on a network, i copy my docs from it to my personal pc (win xp) my docs as a backup followed by copying my docs from drive c to drive d as a redundant backup. Only prob is it keeps telling me copy error when i drag from c to d.

Edit: This error only happens when I try to copy my docs off the co laptop from c to d. All folders I created on the laptop I can backup fine.

Why has this just started happening?

TIA
