What is IMAPP.exe it's killing me!

What is IMAPP.exe?

When I boot up it's the one process that is taking up 99% of my CPU, literally.

Is this essential? Today is the first time I have had this problem.

I'm runing XP.

Have you recently scanned for virii? Now would be a good time to do so. Boot into safe mode if you have to.

This is Incredimail: http://www.incredimail.com/english/splash.html

It appears to be an extremely irritating e-mail "helper."

Do a search for Incredimail on your system. It should have a folder in the C:\Program Files folder. With luck, there will be an uninstaller there.

Imapp.exe is also part of the norton firewall, that tracks connections it can start using more and more CPCu cycles as it tries to monitor all incoming outgoing traffic. Net result : it ends up using 70-90 % of CPU making all other programs sluggish. i have sean a fix on the norton web site but i cant find it
