Nero 6 in Win 2000
i recently switched to windows 200 from win XP (I got sick of all the BS XP gave me). I also upgraded to Nero 6 from 5.5.
Now, whenever I burn a CD, Nero takes all of my resources and no other program can run smoothly, not even winamp 2.8. Is this a trait of nero 6 or win 2000? Is there a way to fix it? |

the most coman cause for this is not a lot of ram left affter windows loads so the burning prog has to use moor page file so it holds every thing up till it has finished as you only have 256mb ram try takeing the 256mb from the other computer and put in this one and test with 512mb post back with results

Go back to 5.5 - it's stable.
