Page preview XP

Hi guys,

I've got a problem with pages(htm,mht etc)that i've saved on my hard drive when it comes to showing a preview image in the details box on XP home edition.

I'll try to explain it a bit better.When you highlight a page or image that's on your hard drive it shows the details of the file and an image of the page/pic in the bottom of left hand side of the XP column.For some reason a couple days ago it stopped showing an image of a page but still shows the details.It works ok with jpeg images etc just not with pages that i've saved.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it but i also a couple days ago updated my computer with all the windows files and patches.There were more then 40 items i downloaded and roughly 50 meg worth.

Has anyone else ever had this problem or know how to fix it,all help is appreciated.Thankyou.

I tried searching around on the net and microsoft's site but couldn't find a solution or any info regarding this problem.Could it be something i have to turn on in my settings or maybe to do with some of the updates i installed from MS?
