Lost The Taskbar in win98

I've just had a phone call from a friend telling me she has lost her task bar in Win98. Anyone got any ideas on how to get it back cos its been so long since I used win98 I cant even remember if there is a way to get it back. any suggestions appreciated.

Have her try moving the mouse pointer off the screen on all four sides until she finds it. Then right click on it and turn off "auto hide."

If the task bar was at the bottom of the screen, try just puttin the mouse down there and left click and drag up, sometimes people drag the task bar down by mistake. Auto hide could b the other problem aw TwoRails said.

You were both right, she had dragged the task bar so that it was invisible.
