Cant Delete Some Desktop Icons...
ok, i know this is pretty silly, but for some reason i can't get llike these 4 icons off my desktop. I was downloading something for Counter-Strike and saved it to the desktop and now that I just want the icons off the desktop they wont delete... I tried using the unused desktop icon wizard... but no success there either... Selecting them and pressing delete doesnt work as wel..
I dont really know what to do.. tis been a long time since ive done my homework on PC Hardware and Windows.. perhaps I should get back into the swing of things..  So if someone could.. just tell me how to get these things off of my desktop.. Im using Windows Xp Home ... anything else you would like to know just let me know.. thanks

Just a huntch, not sure if it is the problem or not, but have you checked to make sure they are not read only?

Are these files that the game is using? If so you will need to move them to the folder of the game.
If they are unused, try booting into safe mode by pressing f8 while booting and try deleting them from there.

Well... they are supposed to be scripts you can make so that you can buy your weapons faster on Counter-Strike.. but i decided not to use them because it looked a bit too complicated.... But yeah Ill just trying booting into safe mode and taking it from there.. thanks
