Scheduled Tasks Will Not Run

Ok, this is kind of funny, whenever i try to run a scheduled task, let's say to like run kazaa at a certain time or something, it will never run, due to the fact that the password is incorrect. This is whether or not i have a password in or not, and none of my user accounts have passwords anyway. Does anyone have any idea why this might be? Thanks alot.

This is supposedly an XP problem, which I see you have, but I have also encountered this on occasion with W2k.

Apparently XP sometimes won`t allow scheduled tasks to be run from a user account that is able to log on without a password.

As far as I know you have 2 options. Assign a password to your account or create another user account only to be used for creating scheduled tasks and assign it a password.

I have run into this problem to. Here is the M$ article: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;310715

The funny thing I just noticed is that now the article says this is "by design." I believe the old article said that they were going to fix it.

Hmmmm.

Check this article out.

Take note of the Staus "Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article."

OK, thanks guys one more glitch solved at PCMech! That is ridiculous anyway, there should be some kind of registry edit that can be done to fix it, but if MS gives up, it guess it's deeper than that.
