Windows Update acting up(i think)

Anybody know why the same critical update will keep coming up when I go to Windows Update? I downloaded it twice before I realized it was the same one. I just tried the update again and there it was again, although under history it said downloads were successful. Thanks.

I had that happen under XP just recently... it stayed that way for a few weeks, but it's finally disappeared on its own. So all I can suggest is to leave it for now.

You can try the "Personalize Windows Update" box after you scan your system. Unselect the item in question and see if that keeps it from coming up. I use that to limit the updates to those that I want.
