IRQ's- How to....why?

Is there a "how to" anywhere that would tell me how I can assign individual IRQ's to my devices?

I have a LOT of "shares" going on IRQ#11 for example (modem, graphics & sound card, USB controllers & ethernet card). It looks like having so many devices there would create a considerable bottleneck.

I'd appreciate some enlightenment. Thanks in advance!

If you are using Windows 2000/XP and are not having problems, it's better to leave that alone. Those OSes use a protocol for IRQ sharing and do a fine job at it.

You can always press the pause button at the startup-there you can see the IRQ that are in use. I would not recomend any change in the IRQ. The worse thing you can get is a blue screen before startup-saying IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
