con.txt system device?

hey,

i never saw this one before, so i thought i would ask. i was copying stuff from a unix tar to a winxp machine. only one file would not transfer, so i assumed corruption. but, i was wrong.

interestingly, i cannot create any file called "con.txt". apparently this is a reserved file on xp. so, now i am curious. what device writes to con.txt?
