I'm pretty sure you need a screen capture tool to do that. If you have Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, it is built into those applications.
Otherwise: http://www.tucows.com/scapt95_default.html |

Press the "Print Screen" key to the right of your F12 key. Then bring up Paint, go to Edit>Paste (click "Yes" on the little box that pops up). Then you can save from Paint anywhere you want.
PS: Alt + Print screen will take a shot of the current window only. Regards |

When you say nothing happens do you mean that you hit 'Print Screen' and there is no apparent action/event? or do you mean that you do the paste and there is nothing there?
If the first is right, then yes this is how it works, there is no pop up asking what to do with the print etc., but your clip board has the file(print). If you open Word and hit Control V or Edit->Paste the screen shot is pasted in. I am sure it will work in Wordperfect or any other higher word processor, just not notepad, that is the realm of text only. Screen print is a bit of a misnomer these days, it used to actually send the screen to the printer, now it just goes to clip board.

Also just wanted to remind all of you who are using Microsoft Keyboards that now decide to include a messy F-Lock - make sure your F-lock is disabled (ie. turned off) before PrintScreen can work.

I've been trying Hard Copy Pro. It gives you a 30 day trial period and if you like it I think the cost is 20.00. Works really great and is super easy to use
