Movie Maker Problems
This is a royally weird one too...Windows Movie Maker works fine, except when i go to the menu that lets me display the video transitions, and then as soon as i click on one of them, the program shuts off. I tried upgrading, and since you can't uninstall it and reinstall, that's not an option, so im out of cards. Any ideas?

Well that didn't do the trick either, Andy, i just don't get it. As soon as i drag the transition into the little box between the clips, click, it shuts off. Or if i release the mouse button after selecting the transition i want, same results.

I have not heard of a good on-board card yet, so I think that is where I would start looking. If you have access to a decent video card, I would disable the on-board system, and try another video card. I have an Intel board with on-board video on my Internet server. When I get a chance, I'll give it a try with Movie Maker 2 and see if it does the same thing.
