Removing highlight from desktop icons
Hi,
I am running Windows XP Home Ed. I recently installed it on my laptop and the print under the desktop icons are in a highlighted box. I had this problem when I installed XP on my desktop computer, but forgot how I removed the box from around the print. Your help is appreciated. I guess I need to write these things down in the future for when I can't remember when I think I won't forget. Thanks Rob Last edited by robrpb; 11-05-2003 at 11:17 AM. |

Open Control Panel in "Classic View">double-click System>Advanced tab>Settings in the Performance section>check "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop"
