Best way to install Win2000
Hi again, I purchased a copy of win 2000 pro because I'm not thrilled with Linux, so I need help with installation. yesterday when I tried it said a file windows\system32\donfig\system is missing or corrupt> and then this one
What it did was made my system unable to boot to my Winxp. Everytime I booted the system the bootlader would show 2000 pro first then xp second. I went to put 2000 pro on my other 120 gb hd that I partitioned into two drives. When I was unable to get to xp I deleted the hd again and still was unable to boot to xp. So after trying the recovery consoul with no luck I formated both my 80 gb and 120 gb drives and partitioned the 120 gb with the partition tool on the xp cd. Now I want to install 2000 pro again on my d drive, but how do I avoid having the same problem as yesterday. thanks and sorry for the long post. I hope it makes sense. I figured I messed up somewhere and want to try again. If this happens again how to I replace the missing or corrupt file. What is the simplest way
