Microsoft virtual machine

When going to some sites I get this message microsoft virtual machine not enabled. I click on the site to download it but get a page that describes a law suite. Where do I go to get the download that will work. I am useing XP Pro and thought I have all the current software patches and service packs.

Forget Microsoft Virtual Machine. Get the latest Java Runtime Environment, JRE.

J2SE v1.4.2 JRE
