I reinstalled windows on my machine and when I try to activate it, it tell me that windows was unable to establish a connection with the activation server and that I have to confirm that I'm able to connect to the internet "but I'm connected to the internet", how do u think I'm posting this message! somebody help me please.

Do the phone activation then.... its automated... and if that doesn't work.. then it puts you thru to a live person... its a painless process.

I did it!
, I can't believe what the problem was, "IT WAS THE DAMN CLOCK!" I cleared the cmos battery and the clock was set to july 2001.
