uninstaling win media player
i just bought a new hdd and i want to know if i can uninstall media player from my c: and reinstall it to my new hdd? or does it have to be on the drive with windows installed?
if that would even be a good idea performance wise. i put all my music on the new hdd as well.

you can have you music on the new drive but meda player is a windows component and must be on the same drive as windows but you can uninstal it you nead to edit a windows system file and remove the hide from it but i forgot which file it is some one elce will know then install winamp on any hard drive if you want but my own prefrence is windows media player
