Missing Search Option In Toolbar In IE6

My daughter was using my pc to talk on AIM while she waits for me to finish setting up her new PC. Well today I find a lot of programs were added to my system that I never downloaded. So I started cleaning up my kids mess and now I find If I click on the search tab in the IE6 browser it opens up to a blank page. I can not enter any searches. My question is how to recover the search. This is BTW my XP OS.

She probably picked up some spyware. Just download, install, immediately update and then run Spybot and/or AdAware. I recommend you use them both since each tends to find things the other misses. Let them clean up any spyware found.

Then get and run CWShredder and run it (link to the download is near the bottom of the page).
