Unable to browse certain web sites

Hi friends,

The IE version is 6.0 and the customer is unable to browse certain web sites like www.microsoft.com, www.cnn.com.

We have tried clearing TIF, set security level to default, disable NAV, try a repair of IE, Last Known Good Configuration, System Restore to no avail.

The error that the customer gets is "Internet explorer has encountered a problem". Asked customer to install IE 6 SP1. But not sure if it worked. Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot
Regards
Gautam

Could be spyware. Download and run ad-aware, virus scan etc.
