Question office search engine trying to connect to internet

I have use the MS office 2003. For a few minutes, sygate firewall tells me that this search engine is trying to broadcast signal on port 80. Should I allow this? I did not ask for any search on the internet. Or I block this for good.

It is probably the softare looking for updates, I can not vouch for the port number (a little out of my knowledge base) but with all the hacks and security issues I would imagine that it is office looking to keep itself up to date.

Office search engine looks up information from Microsoft's Office site, including searches for cliparts etc etc. Port 80 is just your HTTP port
