MSN Messenger in XP - Help

Ok, I just got a new machine loaded with xp home... I want to send myself some files from my other computer using messenger's file transfer feature.

On all of the machine's that I have seen with the feature there is a folder called "My Recieved Files" which is located in my documents. On my machine, the folder aint there...

So my question is, if I send something to myself, where will it go?

you can go into options and there should be a tab for your downloads/recieved files and a file path name that you can more than likely change to go where ever you want. and make sure the messenger is set up. sometimes its one of those programs where you have to use it once before everything is installed. and if you have a lan cable with network cards in both pc's i would advise you network them and send the files that way. or if you can, i would even take the hdd out of the other pc and put it in the new one, as long as there are no warrenties to void
