Question Search Engines won't Search?

My friend has windows 98 on his computer has had it for a few years. Just recently none of his search engines will search when you click go. everything else about the browser works fine. Anyone have a clue to whats going on with his win 98?

Thanks!

I dont know about the link. Sorry but im too lazy to read it. So to help I heard there was a site that you goto and it installs a trojan that renders all search engines useless. So if you have accidentally clicked it, I would seek virus repair help.
