Keyboard problem

Im not sure if anyone knows how to fix this but here goes. Everytime im playing a game and lets say I press the left arrow key along with spacebar or another key it seems like the spacebar always locks the other keys out. If spacebar is the brakes on a racing game then I brake but then my other keys wont work so I cant turn (Not just in specific games, just always seems to lock other keys when more than 2 are pressed). Hope that makes sense to someone =)

What kind of keyboard do you have? Typically there isnt a way to change that. You can only press one key at a time with most keyboards, I believe.

I have no problems in games with my using my keyboard, but I know when typing if I hold one key down and press another it switches letters, numbers, etc...

Ya, it can get a little annoying after awhile. I knew it was an odd question but hey thought I would throw it out there. I have a regular style Silicon_Harbor Keyboard. Nothing special, came along with the comp

I would think possible the space bar may have priorty over other keys?

try to map the brake to a key that is often use with other keys, ALT or Ctrl might give a differnt responce.

Try fudtone's suggestion. I really dont think there is any way around it. You should try getting a gamepad or joystick if you want to stop using the keys for racing games. Also you have the option of a steering wheel and pedals, but that can get up to $100.
