Help is anyone out there
I really need someone to tell me how to create a boot disk for windows XP or am I just s.o.l.

XP doesn't use a boot disk. Boot from the CD. If you want to make a MS dos start disk, right click the floppy drive and select it there.

O.k. Bad news my XP disk has issues and I'm not sure it will work . Basically what you are saying is to put the XP disk in the cd rom drive and right click the a: drive for an ms dos disk.

No, when XP is running then you can make a dos disk from My computer/right click the floppy. Only boot to the XP cd to do the repair.

If you have the CDROM set as the first boot device, in your Bios, your computer should boot from the XP CD.
