Image viewer question
I always use MGI PhotoSuite for my image viewer and I install PaintShop Pro and it took over the image viewer duties against my wishes. How can I make MGI PhotoSuite my default viewer?

Some programs will have an option in their preferences, or setup, menus that reads something like "restore [program name] default file associations" (QuickTime, for example, does this with a single click). See if there's such a menu in your PhotoSuite toolbar menus. If not, there's a manual procedure listed on their website to re-associate file types one at a time [this works for almost any program or file type actually = rather generic]
The MGI website indicates this works for all recent versions of Windows, as well as all versions of PhotoSuite: http://www.roxio.com/en/support/kb/p...PS000195.jhtml Best of luck . . . Gary |

Ok, for the sake of others that may have or will have the same question. I reinstalled the MGI program again and it became the default. Thanks. Last edited by pc_nut; 11-26-2003 at 07:11 PM. |
