98SE windows logo

this isnt really a problem but i wanted to know how can i get ride of the windows logo during startup and shut down and is it possible to replace it with a different picture. like maybe a picture from a screen shot in a video game. in the paint program ? and also is there a web page i can to , to find new icons for window 98se?

Instructions for changing the Win9x startup screen are on this TechTV site.

A Google search for "free icons" will give you plenty of places to start looking for icons you like.

You can change the logon pic but it has to be a Bitmap (.bmp) file and it doesnt really look that hot anyway. Not really worth it.... up to u.... All I did was save the original logon pic the nreplace it with a bmp file and called it the same name.
