Windows logo error

Hello, I am building my first pc and putting on windows xp home as an os. When windows was loading, an error came up saying that it has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows xp. It then tells me to exit the installation. Can anyone tell me what this means and what I should do? I looked around at websites for this information and it sounds very confusing. Thanks in advance.

welcome to PCMech!
does the windows installation say what part of your system is not compatible?...if it were anything it would be either ram or the motherboard i think.

Thanks, it looks to me like it is more than that. I went through to upgrade all the drivers that came with the motherboard and so far the Realtek RTL 8166/8110 lan driver, nVIDIA System Driver, Realtek AC'97 Audio, Silicon Image SIl 3512 SATA Raid Controller, and ITE IT8212 ATA Raid Controller. This all was included with the motherboard's cd. Do you know where i can get some of these drivers compatable with windows?
