this is something that av not done yet, so can someone please help me out please
, right, this is wot i wont to do,1. i want to backup my WinXP Home it has got all the updates mingled through the different programs 2. Format my HD 3. Install my WinXP Home again, then hopefully install the updates from the backup that i made earlier of windowsxp. this is to hopefully prevent me from having to download all the updates from the microsoft website coz there is a lot of updates in my OS |

I don’t believe it is possible to backup just Window Updates. After you reformat you’re going to have to download all the patches again.
You can download this http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail...fid=1067103058 It has all the patches included on the download. One easy install. I have used it on my system and it worked fine. |
