Pissed major problem after installing

i didn't build a completely new pc, just installed a new cpu (celeron 2.6) and a new motherboard (pcchip 952 v1.3b) all other components the same. my computer boots, every application i have runs fine except two: halo and star wars galaxies. whenever i attempt to load either, my system freezes and i have to reboot. it works fine after i reboot. i have tried reinstalling both games, that does not work. i did not have this problem before i installed the new components. can someone help PLEASE!!!

down load and reinstall the drivers for your motherboard and sound card and video card then download and reinstall direct x
from microsoft
even if you have the latest drivers go throu it again as one of them is damaged all so make shore you turn off any anti virus programs you have when your instaling the drivers as it can cause problams
if the new motheoard came with a cd it will have the drivers for the motheboard on so you can use that
