Font Smoothing?
Hey Everyone!
I'm happy enough with font smoothing but after recently upgrading my graphics card (Radeon 9000 PRO, 128MB Version) WinXP and Internet Explorer takes it to the overkill! I tried disabling font smoothing completely but i do notice a difference, fonts look ugly at the edges again 
I also changed how much hardware acceleration to use; this sometimes helps - only once a page is fully loaded i might add. until then fonts are still overly smoothed - but there are other pages where there is no differece until i highlight all text on the page and unhighlight it again.
Any ideas? This isn't always a problem, in fact the majority of sites actually look fine. But it's still an annoyance for those sites which don't work. Attached an example.
