system recovered from a serious error
thats the message i got after my computer restarted by its self. I was reading hotmail then my computer restarts.
what could be a cause? WINxp pro intel p4 MSI nvidia geforce4 |

It could be anything. Not enough information to go on. What were you doing when it happened? Have you had any other problems recently? What are your complete system specs?

this was the first time it happend......5 minutes after i turned the computer on after i got up this morning....all i did was open internetexplorer and was reading hotmail email.

Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer and read what it says happened at the time of the restart.
Post that back here. It could be a one time deal or you could be about to have major trouble. |
