98 overlay ?

Some time back someone wrote an article about how to install a later version of windows useing a full install disk over an older version. If someone could point me too this I would be very gratefull.

I'm not quite sure what you mean; do you want to upgrade the O/S, or try to repair it by reinstalling the O/S overtop of your existing O/S?

forceflow,
I want to upgrade from 98 to 98se and I have a full version of 98se. If I would have read a little farther down the forum before I posted I would have found what I wanted under Tips And Tricks. But sometimes I let My fingers do the walking before my brain kicks in. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, you can upgrade from 98FE to SE with a full version CD.
