XP Locaks Upp At The Welcome Screen
My computer used to work. I took out the ram to use it in another computer. I got some ram for this computer, but when Windows loads, it says I need to change my password. I click OK, then for my new password, I click cancel. It says Welcome, but just stops there. It was working fine. Think it's bad ram? The computer starts up, though.

Try booting the computer of the XP cd and running the recovery console. Try chkdsk /r at the command line.
